The MSOD Project consists of the following Committees:

Board
The Board is responsible for overseeing the management, strategic development, and implementation of the project.


Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC)

The MSOD Project is a collaboration of nine stakeholder organisations representing students, postgraduate education, and training, rural and indigenous health, and workforce planning. A nominee from each organisation is represented on the SAC. The SAC is an advisory sub-committee which provides advice and recommendations to the Board on the project.

The SAC comprises of members from the following organisations:

  • Department of Health and Aging (DoHA)
  • Australian Medical Students Association (AMSA)
  • Federation of Rural Australian Medical Educators (FRAME)
  • Australian Indigenous Doctors Association (AIDA)
  • Confederation of Postgraduate Medical Education Councils (CPMEC)
  • Committee of Presidents of Medical Colleges (CPMC)
  • National Rural Students Health Network (NRSHN)
  • National Health Workforce Taskforce (NHWT)
  • Australian Rural Health Education Network (ARHEN)
  • MSOD Board, as listed above
Research and Scientific Advisory Committee (R&SAC)
The Research and Scientific Advisory Committee is an advisory committee that processes applications for access to the MSOD data and maintains policies and procedures on data usage, conduct of research and publication of data.
