Thank you for participating in the MSOD Project
Your contribution to this landmark initiative has enabled medical schools, researchers and governments to systematically identify and understand the medical student population and their educational experiences on a national scale. Analysis and evaluation of MSOD data regarding placements, electives, career intentions and outcomes informs decisions about medical education, funding and workforce planning.
Participation in the MSOD Project primarily involves completion of MSOD questionnaires. From time-to-time MSOD seeks further involvement from participants through focus groups and attendance at workshops. Opportunities for further involvement will be posted here as they arise.
The terms of involvement in the MSOD Project guarantee anonymity and confidentiality at all times. By completing the Commencing Medical Students Questionnaire (CMSQ), participants agree to allow MSOD to collect data from medical schools regarding placements, electives and enrollment status for the duration of the medical degree. Completion of the CMSQ, Exit Questionnaire and PGY1/Intern Questionnaires allow the MSOD Project Team to contact participants to complete future MSOD questionnaires, in PGY3 and PGY5.
