The Medical Schools Outcomes Database Project consists of the following Committees:

MSOD Management Committee 2008

Stakeholder Advisory Committee 2008

MSOD Research Advisory Committee 2008


Role of Management Committee and Stakeholder Advisory Committee

The two main responsible bodies for the project will be the Management Committee and the Stakeholder Advisory Committee.

The Management Committee shall be the primary responsible body to oversee the management, strategic development, and implementation of the project.

The Stakeholder Advisory Committee is an advisory sub-committee to provide advice and recommendations to the Management Committee on the project.

The Management Committee and the Stakeholder Advisory Committee is set up by Medical Deans Inc. for the duration of the project’s Stage 2 funding and will be renewed and revised prior to the end of this date.

The Stakeholder Advisory Committee is an advisory sub-committee to provide advice and recommendations to the Management Committee on the project.

The Stakeholder Advisory Committee will consult with the Research Advisory Committee and other stakeholder groups and provide advice to the Management Committee on the following:

  • Strategic development of the project with relation to structural and contextual matters.

  • Implementation of the project.

  • Expert advice and support to ensure the project achieves its outcomes in a timely manner.

  • Consult with and provide communication between their respective organisations and the Stakeholder Advisory Committee.

  • Appropriate membership of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee.
